Ssh36 #8 The pigskin leather is ink

The pigskin leather is ink marked as size 61 (61cm head size) with a correct draw string

The helmet has had a green camo pattern applied along with an original WW2 small mesh cam net fitted

faux leather lining and a cross shaped rubber bumper

The shell has the following stamps

When purchased the shell was in a rust affected condition; the inner dome and out upper sides were most affected but I was surprised at how well the helmet cleaned up. The vent comb and the inner vent area were rust affected and I had to use a little filler. There is still some evidence of the remains of rust on the vent comb but it looks okay.
